About the Event
Sunny will introduce Hokusai, the artist who coined the word "manga." He will share the origins of his characters - Kappa, Lucky Cat, Daruma, and Kokeshi - and the steps he took to design them for his books. Audience members can draw their own manga characters during the workshop.
