Join us for our monthly virtual film discussion. On Wednesday, May 13 at 7 PM we will be talking about The Wedding Banquet (1993).

In director Ang Lee’s second film, Wai-Tung (Winston Chao) is a gay man from Taiwan living in New York City. In order to appease his parents, he agrees to marry a female acquaintance who needs a green card. His situation becomes more complicated when his parents, unaware that this is a marriage of convenience, arrive in New York to plan a large wedding for him and his bride.
