About the Event

Join us as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Watts joining the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) family with a Community History Day. Sign up for Summer Reading, share your story, create your own art puzzle, and start a memory box. Explore our new CommUnity Archives kits and learn how to tell your story with special guest Karen Golden. There will be even more activities to enjoy.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
