STAR Volunteers read and tell stories with children at the library.

A weekly fiber arts meetup where participants can share projects, socialize with other fiber artists, and work on their crafts. Bring your own supplies. No registration is required, but schedules may change, so call the Washington Irving Library at (323) 734-6303 for updates.

Walk-in tutoring is available for any adult who needs help with internet searches, filling out forms, English conversation, reading, writing, resumes, and applications, studying for citizenship tests, and basic cell phone and computer use.

Children and thier families work on Lego® projects. 

We meet on the third Wednesday every two months to discuss a book selected by the group. We enjoy reading and discussing books from a wide variety of genres and interests. For information about current titles, please contact the Washington Irving Library.
