About the Event

Join the Skirball at the Central Library to learn about the Jewish holiday of Tu B'Shevat, or New Year of the Trees. Jewish people around the world celebrate by planting trees, volunteering to care for the environment, or just spending time in the great outdoors. Celebrate with us by listening to a story about the holiday. Then, be inspired by nature and your community to create your own "Family Tree" sculpture using recycled and organic materials. Intended for ages 3-11.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
