About the Event

The art of enveloping gifts with cloth originated in ancient Korea. The practice known as Bojagi made use of leftover silk and other fabrics from garment making. In this workshop, you'll learn how to fold, press, and tie interlocking seams to create an attractive gift wrap. The result is a beautiful presentation that happens to be eco-friendly.

This program is made possible by The Library Foundation of Los Angeles and the Get the Balance Right initiative for young adults. Ages 13+ to seniors are welcome to participate.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
