Your Author: Gisa Nico

Learn about the wonders of State and National Parks with author Adalgisa (Gisa) Nico, and about their importance in preserving natural habitats and wildlife. Participants will also learn about the junior ranger program and the process of creating a book with a team (illustrator, book designer, printer).

Gisa will share her new book Tortoises on the Trail: The Iconic Turtles of Joshua Tree, co-written with David Nico and illustrated by Andy Atkins.
