About the Event

The Eagle Rock Book Club explores both acclaimed newer books and rediscovered classics of the past.



The selection for July is the memoir All the Beauty in the World: The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Me by Patrick Bringley. After his brother's death, the author recounts his decision to leave his prestigious position at the New Yorker and begin a decade long career as a museum security guard, finding solace and community among the artworks and fellow guards.



The library will have copies to check out, or check our e-media page for electronic access on Libby and hoopla.
