About the Event

Woman Hollering Creek and Other Stories by Sandra Cisneros is a 1991 collection of vignettes and short stories exploring the complexities of Chicana identity, patriarchal constraints, and life along the Texas-Mexico border. The stories follow women navigating oppressive marriages, cultural displacement, and the journey toward independence and self-discovery.
