About the Event
Quirky and rebellious April (Katie Holmes) lives with her boyfriend in a low-rent New York City apartment miles away from her emotionally difficult family. But when she discovers that her mother has breast cancer, she invites the whole clan to her place for Thanksgiving. While her father struggles to drive the family into the city, April, an inexperienced cook, runs into kitchen trouble and asks a neighbor for help. Pieces of April (2003, rated PG-13) is punk-rock, heartwarming holiday fun.
