Participant(s) Bio
Kim Wayans was born and raised in New York City, in the borough of Manhattan. After graduating from Wesleyan University with honors, she headed out west to Hollywood to make her show biz dreams come true. After a brief stint as an office temp, she started hitting the local clubs to do stand-up comedy, which led her to booking acting gigs in television and film. In the 1990's, she starred in the ground breaking sketch-comedy show, "In Living Color," along with her four brothers: Keenen, Damon, Shawn and Marlon Wayans. When the show ended its last season, Kim went on to co-star in the sitcom "In The House" with L.L. Cool J, and was featured in the film, "Juwanna Mann."

It wasn't until a few years ago that Kim went back to her childhood passion for creating and writing, when she left acting to become a writer/producer/director for the ABC hit family comedy, "My Wife and Kids." Kim has been a writer from the time she was a child in the fifth grade, and was asked to read her collection of children's stories she had written to the first and second grade classes. Now she has come full circle with her new children's book series, Amy Hodgepodge. Kim has a great love for children and recently pitched in to help her brothers Shawn, Marlon and Keenen Ivory by lending her voice to their new children's animated Nickelodeon/Nicktoons show "The Boo Crew" where she plays the lead character, D-Roc's, mother. Kim is also writing a one-woman show she plans to have up in a theatre very soon. One of the personal and professional highlights of her life has been appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004.
