    Celebrate National Novel Writing Month at the library. Central Library will be hosting a write in every Tuesday in November from 6-8. You can also get advice from from LAPL Writes and submit your finished novel to LAPL's collection through SELF-e.

    Love opera? Enjoy a free live musical performance of Hansel & Gretel Saturday, November 05 from 3-4pm. On the following day from 2-3 we are screening the documentary, Sing Your Own Song: An Opera Love Story, with an audience Q&A to follow the screening.
