The activities of five women (Addy Hawkins, Lize Sudmeier, Mary Hutchinson, Jane Burrell, Eloise Page) prior, during and after WW II, were instrumental in the founding of the CIA. “This is the kind of book the Wise Gals could not have anticipated would ever be written … their lives and accomplishments remained undocumented.
