Open Mic Poetry

Our featured speaker will be Lucille (Forgione) Medalis, AKA Luce Morgan. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Luce attended Drexel University, but left to pursue acting. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the stage union EQUITY. She has acted in New York City, Repertory, Summer Stock, and Los Angeles theaters including the Ahmanson. Throughout her years as an actress, she continued writing. Now retired, she can write at her leisure. She is a self-taught poet, and proud of her natural ability to write. She is a member of The Independent Writers of Southern California. Presently, she is co-writing a one act opera. Her first poem was chosen to appear in the Altadena Poetry Review: Anthology 2024.
