STAR Volunteers read and tell stories with children at the library.

A weekly fiber arts meetup where participants can share projects, socialize with other fiber artists, and work on their crafts. Bring your own supplies. No registration is required, but schedules may change, so call the Washington Irving Library at (323) 734-6303 for updates.

Walk-in tutoring is available for any adult who needs help with internet searches, filling out forms, English conversation, reading, writing, resumes, and applications, studying for citizenship tests, and basic cell phone and computer use.

Autry Museum provides a hands-on, object-based program which fosters participant-driven learning and critical thinking. 

Featured Session–Ask a Therapist and Grief Coach: Holding Grief in Therapy and Beyond

Grief is not a mental illness, but it can intersect with depression, anxiety, and trauma. This session will feature therapists and grief coaches who work with grieving individuals, with a focus on how to access mental health care and how providers tailor support for caregivers.
