Disability Compliance at Places of Business to Improve Access for All

About the Event

Join the California Commission on Disability Access (CCDA) Commission at the Community Event in Los Angeles for a discussion on disability access and resources to ensure businesses are accessible and can serve all customers.

In collaboration with the City of Los Angeles Department on Disability and the Los Angeles Public Library, this hybrid event with both in-person and virtual participation, will bring together small business owners, people with disabilities, and community members for a meaningful conversation about advancing access and inclusion across Los Angeles.

The program will feature a presentation on disability access from the Division of the State Architect (DSA), followed by a panel discussion with state partners, local leaders, and stakeholders on disability access in Los Angeles.

Whether you are a business owner or a member of the disability community, this event offers an opportunity to learn from one another, build connections, and support more inclusive practices.

In-person attendance will be held at the Los Angeles Public Library Central Library, Mark Taper Auditorium, 630 W. 5th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071, 90071 with Zoom participation for virtual attendees. Please note that virtual attendance requires registration.

The program will also be streaming live on the library's YouTube channel.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
