How do animals survive in a place that is hot, dry, and full of challenges? Explore how desert animals stay cool, find food and water, and protect themselves from predators. Through stories, movement, discussion, and a hands-on activity, children will discover how adaptations help animals survive and then create their own desert animal with special traits to help it thrive.

Experience nature through art and observation! Create a nature journal with drawings and writings to document what you see and learn.
