Come create collage art and listen to music together. We’ll have lots of cool stuff to cut up for your collages including magazines, comics, and cards from Central Library’s old card catalog.

Walk-in Tutors assist adult patrons with reading, writing, English conversation, basic technology assistance, job applications, and completing forms. Walk-in Tutors cannot assist with legal documents. No reservations or appointments are required but is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Take an hour-long tour through the Los Angeles Central Library. Your docent guide will share stories about the history, art, and architecture of L.A.'s landmark downtown library.

Would you like to pronounce English clearly and confidently? Practice with us. The focus of this class is improving letter and word sounds.

Do you want to improve your reading with a good story? Join the book club and read with other adults who want to practice vocabulary, grammar, and reading skills using books or poetry. Everyone is welcome. Books or poems will be provided.
