"All the world's a stage," and no one takes that more literally than Drag Queen Story Hour's Pickle! It's time to grab a sequined curtain and learn a Shakespeare speech with a Drag Queen! Shakespeare can seem hard, but with a step-by-step workshop (and a lot of hairspray), Pickle breaks it down so anyone (that means YOU) can perform a Shakespeare speech like a pro! All reading levels and experience levels welcome. Never even heard of Shakespeare? Who cares! Let's have fun!

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
