BARK (Beach Animals Reading with Kids) is an all-volunteer program that encourages children to increase their reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs.

Join us on the second Saturday of each month to learn some simple Vietnamese vocabulary through read alouds, songs, and movement activities! 

Enjoy stories, songs, and much, much more! Intended for ages 3-8.

All children are invited to read stories with our volunteer Terri. Share in the joy of reading with our STAR volunteer every Saturday. Take home a free book after coming to three STAR events at our branch.

Rising STAR volunteers are teens who read stories with children at the library.

Each month, the library will provide limited copies of the upcoming book for discussion. We look forward to many great reading adventures ahead. Please feel free to bring titles of books you’d like to share with the group, and we’ll compile a list for future meetings.
