Description:

Celebrate El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day) with Antonio Sacre! Antonio is a storyteller and author—his latest book is My Name is Cool—who will share stories and folktales from his Cuban-American upbringing and many visits to Mexico, and encourage the audience to find their own stories through books and their own cultural traditions.

El día de los niños/El día de los libros, commonly known as Día, is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children from all backgrounds that culminates yearly on April 30. Look for Día programs at branches throughout the city, all through April!

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
