All children are invited to read stories with our volunteers. Share in the joy of reading with our STAR volunteers every Saturday!

BARK (Beach Animals Reading with Kids) is an all-volunteer program that encourages children to increase their reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs.

Join us on the second Saturday of each month to learn some simple Vietnamese vocabulary through read alouds, songs, and movement activities! 

Enjoy stories, songs, and much, much more! Intended for ages 3-8.

Rising STAR volunteers are teens who read stories with children at the library. 

Join our monthly book discussion led by a different member of our staff and the book of their choice. Check out The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and join the discussion on Saturday, September 12th.

Each month, the library will provide limited copies of the upcoming book for discussion. We look forward to many great reading adventures ahead. Please feel free to bring titles of books you’d like to share with the group, and we’ll compile a list for future meetings.
