Bilingual StoryWalk® for families!

Children are invited to share the joy of reading with our STAR volunteer. Come three times and take home a free book.

Come listen to a story or practice reading with a STAR volunteer. This program is 1:1 or small groups and geared towards kids 4-6.

Children of all ages can share the joy of reading with a STAR volunteer!

Do you like dogs? Do you like books? 

Join us as children practice their reading by sharing their favorite stories aloud to gentle rescue pups from Reading to the Rescue—building confidence, compassion, and a love of reading, all while learning about animals in need in our community. 

Join us for stories and songs, followed by playtime. For children of all ages and their families.

We meet on the third Wednesday every two months to discuss a book selected by the group. We enjoy reading and discussing books from a wide variety of genres and interests. For information about current titles, please contact the Washington Irving Library.

Join us for an engaging discussion about whodunnits, thrillers, and crime fiction. We meet on the third Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. Copies are available at the reference desk and as e-books.

In celebration of the Central Library's centennial, the Eagle Rock Book Club is participating in the 1926 Book Club.
