National Coloring Book Day is recognized annually on August 2. Coloring and coloring books have always been popular with children, but in the last few years, adults have gotten in on the act, and a whole cottage industry of coloring books for grown-ups have cropped up. Many find that it is not only fun and crafty, it's also a great way to relax and reduce stress.
Although the initial hype has died down somewhat, we still have a number of very active coloring clubs that meet in various branches, and on Zoom.. They listen to music, chat with each other, and, of course, color.
