One of the most attractive features of e-books and audiobooks is the ease of downloading them. The large collection of e-books and audiobooks provided by the library makes choosing enjoyable too.
During this time when so many people are staying at home, it can be an advantageous time to catch up on your reading. However, and particularly with new and popular titles, placing a hold and having to wait is a necessity. Invariably, all the holds will come in at the same time! Having several titles available simultaneously doesn’t have to be a problem any longer with Overdrive's "Deliver Later" feature.
With Deliver Later, you have more control over your holds. Not ready to read the latest James Patterson? Or maybe the third book in the series comes in before the second? Choose the Deliver Later option, and the title will go to the next waiting patron—but you won’t lose your place in line. When you pick Deliver Later, you’ll choose the earliest date you’d like to receive the title. After the date you pick, you’ll get the next available copy of the title.
