I have always enjoyed many musical genres. For instance, I have found opera and classical music to be incredibly soothing and quietly uplifting. I’m inspired by the story of Maria Callas and also feel energized by the voice of Luciano Pavarotti.
I’ve also been an avid concert-goer for many years. I have treasured memories of the opera Don Giovanni at the Walt Disney Music Hall and the ballet, Swan Lake, at The Music Center. Although concert-going has been temporarily put on hold lately, it is now possible to view great concerts and ballets in the comfort of one’s own home.
I’m excited to announce that medici.tv brings the very best of opera, ballet, and classical music right into the comfort of your own home! This new streaming platform is freely accessible to Los Angeles Public Library cardholders.
