8 Book Selections for Library Lovers

Leah Wong, Administrative Clerk, Cypress Park Branch Library,
pages of a book folded to make a heart

I remember taking field trips to my school's local library. Walking among the bookshelves was a magical yet intimidating experience. There were so many books. Had they all been read? Had one person read them? Could I read them? After I received my first library card, I become a certified library lover. I still am to this day. February is National Library Lovers Month. It's a time for people to show their appreciation for these places of information and knowledge, and it can be done in different ways. Visit your local library. It's never too late to sign up for a library card if you haven't already. Check out your new favorite author, band, or movie in the collection. Attend a program or a class.

In honor of National Library Lovers Month, here are books for library lovers of all ages.
