We’ll also point you to related resources in our collection, helping you to discover classic films, musical favorites, and historical tidbits. The primary focus will be on our e-material – e-books, e-audio, and downloadable and streamable music and film – but physical books and DVDs will also be part of the fun.

And on this day in 1960, Nicola Griffith was born. Her seven novels bridge the gap between genre -- science fiction, crime novel, medieval fantasy -- and literary fiction, and usually take a distinctly feminist view of their subjects. Griffith's first novel, Ammonite, was a winner of both the Lambda Literary Award and the James Tiptree, Jr. Award; it's available as an e-book from OverDirve. |
