On this day in 1949, Jim Broadbent was born. For 35 years, Broadbent has been one among the most reliable character actors in Hollywood and London. He's comfortable in both comedy and drama, period pieces and contemporary stories. His roles have included W.S. Gilbert (in Topsy-Turvy), Boss Tweed (Gangs of New York), Denis Thatcher (The Iron Lady), and King William IV (The Young Victoria) -- and those are just the historical figures! And on this day in 1967, Heavy D was born. He was a rapper, actor, and record producer. Heavy D was the leader of the 90s hip-hop group Heavy D and the Boyz, best remembered for their 1991 hit "Now That We Found Love." He was among the first rappers to collaborate with a pop singer when he appeared on Janet Jackson's record "Alright."
