The Los Angeles Public Library is now the home of Angel City Press.

Los Angeles Public Library has acquired Angel City Press, the highly regarded LA-based publisher. Angel City Press produces highly illustrated books about Los Angeles and Southern California, with particular emphasis on art, architecture, photography, design, and cultural history. The press now operates as part of the library and in furtherance of its mission to preserve and promote the history of Los Angeles. We welcome new book proposals from both established and first-time authors; please note that as we are currently only able to publish between five and eight books a year, our acquisition process is highly selective.

To contact Angel City Press, please write to angelcitypress@lapl.org.

Angel City Press is distributed by Gibbs Smith. For wholesale orders, please contact orders@gibbs-smith.com.
