American Red Cross

The American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles has been providing disaster relief to local citizens. In addition, the American Red Cross train people in vital life-saving skills, including CPR and first aid, aquatics and water safety. Nearly 3,000 local volunteers assist the American Red Cross in providing vital services to the community.

Good Samaritan Hospital

Hollygrove

From the late 1950's, Hollygrove provided residential services for abused or neglected children who had been removed from the custody of their families by the court. In 2005, Hollygrove closed its residential program to concentrate on outpatient and in-home, community-based mental health services. Although children no longer live at Hollygrove, they provide a range of counseling services in their homes and crisis intervention services.
