A staged reading of a new play, adapted for the theater by Debbie McMahon, Artistic Director for the Grand Guignolers Theater Company. Victor Hugo's indictment of the injustice and inequality within Britain's political system tells the story of the heir of a rebel lord abducted and mutilated by a vindictive monarch.

ALERT:  Major Street Closures Surrounding Central Library

Sat., May 10, and Sun., May 11, 6 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Motion picture filming will close major streets surrounding Central Library from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sat, May 10 and Sun. May 11; please allow extra time if you are planning to visit Central Library.  The closure will affect traffic and public transportation in the area. Pedestrian access to Central Library may be momentarily interrupted.   Vehicles must use the Grand Ave entrance to access the West Lawn Garage adjacent to the library (travel west on Fifth St., turn left onto Grand Ave., the garage entrance is the first driveway on the right.)
