    Join us for a panel discussion on the lessons which can be drawn from the Abolitionist movement in the United States.  This movement, which fought for the emancipation of millions of African Americans at a time when slavery was one of the most powerful economic and political forces in the U.S., became the precursor for the first wave of  American feminism and the labor movement.Speakers: Prof. Melina Abdulah, Pan-African Studies Dept. at Cal. State, L.A. and Ace Antonio Hall, Actor and Writer
