Description:

The Odes of Pablo Neruda: A Bilingual Reading

Olga García Echeverría, Francisco Letelier, Marisela Norte, and David Shook

Music by Gerardo Morales, classical guitarist

Join us for a bilingual reading from new translations (edited by Ilan Stavans) of the collected odes of Nobel Laureate poet Pablo Neruda, who penned verses to lemons and watermelons, to autumn and the eye, to hope and the elephant, to the dictionary and the book. Gathered for the first time in any language, All the Odes celebrates the translations of a world-renowned poet who sings to life itself.
