Description:

Join Russell Johnson, curator for History and Special Collections at UCLA Library, for the inaugural talk in the Friends of the Mid-Valley Regional Branch Library's new membership meeting series. Johnson will discuss the baby memory books collected by UCLA Library's History and Special Collections for the Sciences.

This collection is now celebrating its 10th anniversary and includes over 1400 books dating as far back as the 19th century. It's a fascinating resource for anyone who wants to learn more about pediatrics, child healthcare, and the similarities between children raised in different cultural and economic backgrounds.
