"Nothing can bring you peace but yourself." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

An antidote to the stresses of modern times, mindfulness is a mind-body approach to well-being that invites us to stop, breathe, observe, and connect with our inner experience. Scientific research has shown a regular mindfulness practice can help to:

  • Increase attention, focus and concentration
  • Decrease anxiety and depression and lessen emotional reactivity
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Increase self-awareness, self-trust, and self-acceptance
  • Foster a greater sense of well-being

Join us for these free drop-in sessions where mindfulness facilitator, Jennifer Howd will provide an introduction to the basics of mindful meditation and present tips for bringing the practice of mindfulness into our daily lives.

Jennifer Howd is a writer and mindfulness facilitator living in Los Angeles.
