Screening of Justice is a Black Woman: The Life and Work of Constance Baker Motley followed by Q & A with filmmaker Dr. Gary Ford, Jr.

Co-sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the NAACP. 

This documentary chronicles the life and work of Motley, an "unsung" hero of the Civil Rights movement. The film is narrated by Juan Williams and includes Dr. Maya Angelou reading her poem, Still I Rise, President Bill Clinton, Supreme Court Justice Steven Breyer, Attorney Vernon Jordan, members of the "Little Rock Nine," Ms. Charlayne Hunter-Gault and many others. Dr. Ford produced the documentary, Justice is a Black Woman: The Life and Work of Constance Baker Motley while working as a faculty fellow at Quinnipiac University.
