Improv Workshop with David Magidoff

Saturday, December 07, 2013

2:00pm to 3:00pm

In this one-hour session, David Magidoff will introduce young adults and adults to the world of improv comedy. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Warm-up games will start the session to get minds and bodies loose and ready to have fun. Some warm-ups include making up our own superheroes (imagination), creating a sound circle (rhythm), and creating fun limericks together (teamwork). Next pretend you're on the ABC Family show, Whose Line Is It Anyway? with improv games! These games will encourage students to listen to one another, tell good stories, be bold, and create fun characters.
