Our computer and information literacy workshops meet for four (4) sessions every other week on Tuesdays. Workshops are arranged in the following course-level order:
- Computer Comfort Basics include understanding computer terminology and developing hand and eye coordination with the computer mouse,
- E-mail (Level 2), and
- More Computer Comfort -- Word Processing (Level 3).
The fourth and last session will focus on learning how to use one of the following library resources: Conducting a basic search for materials using the LAPL online catalog, or accessing your library account to manage and /or renew library materials, placing hold requests for materials from other branches, or learn how to search one of our online databases; e.g., the Health & Wellness Resource Center.
