The 22nd Annual Marie Northrop Lecture Series, presented by the Los Angeles City Historical Society, focuses on the theme: "What happened to the Ethnic Communities of Historic Los Angeles." This lecture features Christopher Jimenez y West, professor at Pasadena City College, with invited panelists Phil Ethingon (University of Southern California,) Lorn Foster (Pomona College,) and Los Angeles City Councilman Curren Price (9th District) discussing the historic center of African American culture in Los Angeles. Free and open to the public.
