BARK: Beach Animals Reading With Kids

Family Activity

2:00pm to 3:00pm

Read books to dogs at the library!

If you don't read yet, a parent can read or you can look at the pictures and tell the dog a story.

BARK is an all-volunteer program that encourages children to increase their reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs. Studies show that reading to these dogs actually leads to improvement in reading skills!

All dogs are trained to work with children, and the owner is present at all times. All ages welcome.
