You're invited to Art Alliance for Humanity's "State of the Arts" Symposium hosted by Central Library at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27. This event is free and open to the community and features a public roundtable discussion and two performances between 2 - 4 p.m., followed by an open admission reception sponsored by Whole Foods, Inc. and Daily Organics from 4 - 5 p.m. The topic of dicussion will be "What is the State of the Arts in this Country?" The two free performances consist of a scene enacted by downtown's Cornerstone Theater Company actors and a dance piece featuring student performers from "Metamorphosis" after-school arts program at Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES) High School. Panelists include representatives from Yale University School of Drama, Princeton U., USC, UCLA, Cornell U., YMCA, Health Watch, & Liberation Yoga Studio. Join us!
