The exterior of the Vernon Potteries Company in 1931. The J. A. Nadeau Company on 1100 E. Slauson Avenue in Huntington Park created an indoor park to showcase their Hupmobiles in November, 1931. Proud dignitaries and local businessmen celebrate the first shipment of raw silk from Japan to the Hermosa Silk Spinning Company in Hermosa Beach.
