Small Business Entrepreneurship: Doing Business in L.A.

The Mayor's Office of Economic Development and the Los Angeles Public Library will be hosting FREE workshops at various branches across the city on a diverse array of topics pertinent to today's small business owner.  From starting your own business, to gaining access to capital, to planning for long-term success, these workshops will provide insightful information as well as help you connect to resources provided by the City of Los Angeles and regional partners that assist with small business development.

This free workshop will teach the basics of small business entrepreneurship, how to legally start a business in Los Angeles, and introduce resources provided by the City of Los Angeles and regional partners that assist with small business development.

This event features keynote speaker Frank Aguirre, Small Business Development Specialist in the Mayor's Office of Economic Development.

One of the keys to a successful marketing strategy is having a long term vision of what you want your business to become and build a plan to meet that vision. This workshop will be an interactive experience in building a strategy for the long term success of your business. You will also be introduced to the resources offered by the City of Los Angeles and regional partners that assist with small business development.
