- California Fiction Index (LAPL)
- LAPL’s own index to fiction for adults which takes place in California. Can be searched by author, title, locale, decade in which the story takes place, subject keywords, and names of major characters.
- Series and Sequels (LAPL)
- LAPL’s listing of fiction books for adults which are part of a series or are sequels to earlier novels. Includes multi-author series like "Star Trek" as well as modern sequels to classics such as Sherlock Holmes and Jane Austen’s novels. A card backfile is gradually being added to the online database.
