Teachers: Teacher Library Card

Teachers get an extended loan period to use library materials in their classrooms.

To qualify for teacher loans, you must obtain two library cards- one for personal use and a teacher’s card. To qualify for a teacher’s card, you must submit identification showing your current status as a teacher.

A teacher’s card allows you to borrow a total of 50 items, with some restrictions, pending librarian approval.

Most items checked out on a Teacher’s Card (except DVDs, videos, and music) are loaned for 6 weeks. Items may be renewed 1 time if restrictions do not apply.

Materials are for classroom use only. Teachers will be responsible for fees incurred for lost or damaged items and for overdue fines.
