About

This week the Library Foundation of Los Angeles launched "The Library Store On Wheels," a mobile incarnation of the Central Library’s beloved and critically-acclaimed store. Featuring a unique and carefully-curated collection of literary-inspired gifts, the store chose an itinerary Library Storeof six different neighborhood branches of the Los Angeles Public Library to visit during its inaugural week; for good measure,  the world-famous Amoeba Music store was also added to the mix.

At each stop, City Librarian John F. Szabo, Library Foundation President Ken Brecher, and others will greet the truck throughout the week.

If you wish to participate in part of the fanfare, the remaining stops are: Thursday, Dec. 13 from 2 to 6 p.m. – Mid-Valley Branch;  Saturday, Dec. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. – Cypress Park Branch; Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 2 to 6 p.m. – Fairfax Branch; and Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 2 to 6 p.m. – Amoeba Music (Hollywood).

The Library Store proceeds benefit LAPL.
