infoNow (Ask A Librarian)

infoNow, the Los Angeles Public Library's telephone reference center, provides this e-mail information service. From the convenience of your home or office, you can get answers to brief factual questions. Staff can also provide suggestions on sources available in the library or on the Internet to answer more lengthy or involved questions. Use the e-mail Information Request form below.

Responses will be provided within 36 - 48 hours or less, excluding weekends. If you have a deadline, you may get a faster response by visiting or calling your local branch or by calling LAPL's infoNow telephone information line at (213) 228-7272. Telephone information services are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
