Josefa Salinas is a breakthrough female Latina DJ that has been entertaining radio listeners throughout California for 22 years. She has been at L.A. HOT’s 92.3 since 2001, where she is the anchor of the morning show news and hosts every Sunday morning the highly acclaimed talk show “The Community Review”, which won the coveted “NAB Crystal Award” in 2007. She is also the station’s Director of Community Affairs. She is the CEO of Crystal Dragon Entertainment, a consulting and management firm that she founded in 1993 that handles Grammy winners, online start-ups, national and international music tours, non profit consultations and much more. Salina’s love and dedication for youth, with focus on young women, led her to create the program “How to be a G.I.R.L.” for The Pursuit of Excellence Institute. She is also the Founder and Director of the “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER” Foundation. Salinas is a motivational speaker and advisor for numerous community organizations, and she is a board member for the YMCA, REACH Foundation, and Community Day/Sheriff’s Clergy Council. Before her radio career began, Josefa worked in juvenile probation. She continues to work with the Justice Department and other Federal organizations to develop programs for local communities and jail-based incarceration. Josefa has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of the HOPE Latina Institute Class of 2007. She has received numerous awards including the National Latina Business Woman of the Year in Broadcasting 07, Spirit of Peace award winner 08; and in 2010, she received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award.
Bich Ngoc Cao

Bich Ngoc Cao serves as digital marketing director at Capitol Music Group’s Harvest Records. Prior to co-founding the marketing and technology firm Shift14, Ms. Cao created digital marketing campaigns for a roster of emerging artists on Warner Bros. Records. Previously, she launched MySpace Music and helped build a small social network into a global entertainment destination. After MySpace, Bich Ngoc joined Bobby Shriver and Bono to co-found and launch (RED), a unique product partnership amongst global brands such as Gap, Apple and American Express, to raise $100 million for AIDS programs in Africa. A lifelong Angeleno and USC alumna, Ms. Cao is committed to empowering young people to vote as co-founder of the organization Young Angelenos. She wrote an essay on online organizing in the New York Times bestseller MoveOn’s 50 Ways to Love Your Country.

Greg Bettinelli is a Venture Partner at Upfront Ventures (Los Angeles), Advisor for Freeman Spogli & Co. (Los Angeles) and Co-Founder of MuckerLab (Santa Monica). From 2009-2013, Greg was the Chief Marketing Officer for HauteLook, a leading flash-sales online retailer. Prior to joining HauteLook, Greg was Executive Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Live Nation, Inc. Before Live Nation, Greg held a number of leadership positions at eBay, including Sr. Director of Business Development at StubHub, where he led business development, partnerships, sales and seller development, including spearheading StubHub’s landmark relationship with Major League Baseball. Prior to transitioning to StubHub from eBay, he led eBay.com’s Event Tickets and Media businesses, including half.com and was the business leader who led eBay’s acquisition of StubHub in 2007. Greg received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Mai Lassiter has actively supported a variety of charitable organizations as a board member, volunteer and fundraiser. Most recently, Lassiter has focused on organizations benefiting children and political causes. She is a Trustee at The Center for Early Education, a Founding Member of FOCUS, an affiliate group of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and of the Harry S. Huggins Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (CT) where she oversees the annual college scholarship awards selection. She has been a committed fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee since 2003 and was a California Delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention. She also served as a member of the National Finance Committee for Obama 2012. Lassiter is also a consultant on marketing and branding strategies for Overbrook Entertainment, where she also serves as an advisor for Overbrook’s corporate philanthropy. She was Vice President of Marketing at Sony Music Entertainment/Columbia Records for 10 years and she began her career as a Production Assistant at ABC News. Lassiter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University. She is a native of California.

Former Los Angeles City Council member Rita Walters was a member of the Los Angeles City Council from 1991-2001, representing the 9th Council District. During her tenure on the City Council, she chaired the Arts, Health and Humanities Committee, which reviewed matters related to the Library Department for the City Council. She previously served on the Los Angeles Unified School District's Board of Education from 1979 - 1991, and was a teacher in the Adult Division of the School District for four years. Ms. Walters has a M.B.A from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a B.A. from Shaw University.
