Roxane Gay's Difficult Women move to #1 on the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Fiction Bestseller List for the week of February 5, 2017 while Hillbilly Elegy by J. D. Vance  remains the number one book on the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Nonfiction Bestseller List for the third week in a row.
 
Debuting at #8 on the Hardcover Fiction List this week is Transit by Rachel Cusk.  New to the Hardcover Nonfiction List are Insane Clown President by Matt Taibbi and The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking.
